SevenThirty presents A Flea in her Ear by Georges Feydeau.

Thirteen Irish plays and one Scottish. SevenThirty branches out with a French Farce.

Whoever described Noises Off as the funniest Farce ever written, had obviously never read George Feydeau's A Flea in her Ear.  This is the Farce to beat all Farces!  Set in Paris in 1907, this play is the bedrock on which most later material is set, intricately constructed, with more entrances and exits than most modern authors could countenance... and yes, even stairs!    The play has been several times adapted to modern setting. Our production, however, in a new translation by David Whiteley, will be fully period set and costumed.  Be prepared for a lavish and breathtakingly funny evening in the theatre!

Opening on September 16th 2010 and running right through to October 23rd.
